What is the Good Dog House? (GDH)
The Good Dog House is an original staking platform by the Good Dog Collective, HEEL. The GDH platform utilizes HEEL NFTs & HEEL tokens simultaneously.The GDH is designed to be a fully immersive and interactive user experience. The originating focus will always be HEEL but there is plenty room for expansion and scalability. The GDH will contain an adaptable and upgradeable smart contract, giving endless options of NFTs or Tokens to incorporate over time. Staking HEEL tokens on their own (without an NFT) inside of the Good Dog House will become a feature that is implemented in the future. Specific token staking mechanics to be discussed. There will be a few various levels of HEEL token staking entries. Keeping a certain level of tokens staked will offer potential benefits such as: Free mint-spots, Good Dog merch, & more to be discussed.
Good Dog House: Staking Waves
The Good Dog House will run various waves of staking beginning with, Wave 1. There is a 30-day consecutive staking period that must pass in order for a user to successfully claim staking rewards. We never want to hold any NFTs or Tokens hostage, therefore users are able to stake or un-stake at any period of time they choose. However, in order to be eligible for rewards, users MUST have holdings staked for the full 30-day timeframe.
Each staking wave will be unique and will have separate holding requirements, different rewards, and various surprises. Important note: Once an NFT successfully completes a 30-Day Staking Wave, it cannot go through the same Wave twice.
When did the Good Dog House open?
The GDH officially opened its doors for Good Dogs on March 17th, 2023. Wave 1 of Staking in the GDH will be a learning experience for the Good Dog Collective and users alike. Priceless information will be gathered to fine-tune the GDH and let us operate even more smoothly over future staking waves. This is an on-going process and will evolve to have a stronger foundation with each wave.
Good Dog House: Endless Possibilities
The GDH will contain an adaptable and upgradeable smart contract, giving endless options of NFTs or Tokens to incorporate into the GDH over time. Honoring our ancestors has been important to us since day one. The Good Dog Collective has plans to eventually integrate some of our favorite tokens into the GDH, such as SHIB, BONE and LEASH plus Shiboshis, through creative and special ways. Once the Good Dog House is open, operational and running flawlessly, we will begin to explore collaborations with other projects & ultimately have a sign-up document for onboarding possible GDH collaborations!
In the future, we see a scenario where HEEL governance can vote on what projects to integrate within the GDH itself. There is also an opportunity to implement a burning function for HEEL tokens in order for projects to utilize the GDH. Compatibility and scalability are what make the GDH a one-of-a-kind platform that puts all focus into the full user experience.
